Loyal Taralga M.U.I.O.O.F. No 325 Roll of HonourPrint Page Print this page

The wooden honour roll commemorates members of the Taralga Manchester Unity Independent Order of Odd Fellows (M.U.I.O.O.F.) who served in World War One.

It was originally installed in the Masonic Lodge but was given to the Taralga Historical Society when falling membership of the Lodge indicated it might have to close.

Unveiling Honour Roll. -- A large gathering of the public took place in the local hall on Monday evening last, when a Roll of Honour erected by the local Manchester Unity Lodge was unveiled by the Grand Secretary of N.S.W., Bro. J. Taylor, Sydney. The Grand Secretary was accompanied by Bros. Simmonds, D.G.M., G. Stacey, P.D.G.M., E. T. Fox, D.Sec., Cooper, N.G., and two members of the Crookwell Lodge. There was a large attendance of members of the Taralga branch.  A wreath of white roses was placed at the foot of the roll as a tribute to the memory of the late Bro. Milton Bradbury, who was killed over 12 months ago.
