The honour roll commemorates those from the district who served in World War One. It is a gilt honour roll with pediment displaying a laurel wreath with two Union Jack flags.
At Cecil Park Public School, near Liverpool, Mr R. B. Orchard, M.P., unveiled a roll of honour to local men who have gone to the front. The names on the board were F. Cashman, J. Bayland, A. Smith (killed), B. Popplewell, H. Marks, A. Stevenson, C. Kenniff, A. Cloke, B. Hunter (killed), F. Dickson, C. Hall, E. Stevenson, F Thompson, J. Kennedy, A. Marks, H. Hoffmann, P. Barloge, W. Jewels, O. Marks, and C. Jewels. In this small hamlet, 21 out of 24 available men have enlisted.
