Handsome presentations were made by the Mayor to Trooper; E. L. Atkins and Trooper Ormond Lake, who were present in khaki, and also to Private A. Saundercock, who was unable to be present. Mr. Richard Hunt also handed his prize of £1/1/- to Miss Dorothy Nichol as the most successful candidate in the recent examinations, and the staff gave Miss Eunice Killip a similar prize for being a close second.
