The School of Arts hall commemorates those from the district who served in World War One.
Narooma, Wednesday. The foundation stone of the Narooma School of Arts Soldiers' War Memorial Hall was laid on Saturday last, by Mr. J. A. Perkins, M.L.A., and donations amounting to about £60 were laid on the stone. A knockout football match was also held, in which several teams competed, Dry River team being the winners of a cup. A social evening was held to conclude the day, the net results to the building fund amounting to over £80.
