Dear Monument Australia visitors, we are a self-funded, non-profit organisation, dedicated to recording monuments throughout Australia. Over time the costs of maintaining this website have risen substantially (in fact they are probably larger than those of many companies who exist for profit). In the past we have borne all the costs associated with maintaining the website but we are now having difficulties in paying the monthly expenses.
If Monument Australia is useful to you, please make a donation to keep this historical and educational resource available. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Wang Wauk Soldiers Memorial Church Honour RollPrint Page

The wooden honour roll commemorates those from the district who served in World War One. The roll was relocated from the demolished Soldiers Memorial Church in Wang Wauk.
The ceremony of unveiling the honor roll took place in the Soldiers' Memorial Church at Wang Wauk at 2 p.m. on Sunday, 18th July. The very large congregation overtaxed the accommodation of the church. Rev. C.W Nicholls, on behalf of the Wang Wauk residents, thanked Mr W. T. Howard for his magnificent gift of the roll, which he made and presented to the Memorial Church.
Northern Champion (Taree, NSW), 24 July 1926.
