Jamisontown Uniting Church Honour RollPrint Page
The honour roll commemorates those connected with the church who served in World War One.
The Jamisontown United Church was well filled on Sunday afternoon last, the occasion being the unveiling of a Roll of Honor, by Mr R Callum, who is the father of three sons who, prior to their departure to the front, were connected with the Church. One of the three heroes has paid the supreme price.
The Honor Roll, which was executed by the firm of Mrs John Price and Son, Penrith, is a splendid piece of work, being of highly polished maple (5ft 6in x 2ft 3in), with carved cap columns, and the names inscribed on a carved scroll. The British Coat of Arms is depicted on a heavily moulded pediment.
