The honour roll commemorates those from the Daysdale and District who served in World War One. It lists 104 names.
The unveiling of Daysdale honor roll at the mechanics' institute took place on Sunday in the presence of the largest concourse of spectators yet seen at a public gathering at this centre. The ceremony was performed bv Mr. R. T. Ball, M.L. A., Minister of Works and Railways, who, in the course of his remarks, said he thought that Daysdale had something like an Australian record in that of the total enlistment from that district 25 per cent had made the supreme sacrifice. There were over 100 names on the roll.
