The Wallace Park Reserve commemorates Wallace Park and other comrades who were killed in action at Lone Pine, Gallipoli during World War One.
The Reserve was named after Wallace Park who, along with other soldiers, died at the battle of Lone Pine, Gallipoli on 8 August, 1915. The land was dedicated for a park in the Wallace Park Estate subdivision of 1918, by Alderman James Park in memory of his brother, Wallace.
