Dear Monument Australia visitors, we are a self-funded, non-profit organisation, dedicated to recording monuments throughout Australia. Over time the costs of maintaining this website have risen substantially. In the past we have borne all the costs associated with maintaining the website but we are now having difficulties in paying the monthly expenses.
If Monument Australia is useful to you, please make a donation to keep this historical and educational resource available. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Capertee District Honour RollPrint Page

The honour roll commemorates those from the District who served in World War One.
Capertee. A handsome cedar honor roll, containing the names of all district soldiers, has been placed in position in the general meeting room at the local station. The unveiling ceremony will probably synchronise with that in connection, with the machine-gun which is expected to arrive at an early date.
Lithgow Mercury (NSW ), 19 November 1920.
