Brocklesby War MemorialPrint Page
The monument commemorates those who served in World War One. Funding was received in 2013 for restoration of the monument.
Very favourable comment has been received upon the beautiful soldiers monument recently erected in Brocklesby. The monument which is of the Gothic order of architecture was designed by Mr. T. Greenfield of Albury and the whole of the work was carried out in his yards under his personal direction with the exception of the lamp stand which was made by a Melbourne firm to Mr Greenfield's specifications and drawings. The monument has marble panels on fours sides inscribed with the names of the thirty-eight lads who volunteered from Brocklesby and district.
