Dear Monument Australia visitors, we are a self-funded, non-profit organisation, dedicated to recording monuments throughout Australia. Over time the costs of maintaining this website have risen substantially. In the past we have borne all the costs associated with maintaining the website but we are now having difficulties in paying the monthly expenses.
If Monument Australia is useful to you, please make a donation to keep this historical and educational resource available. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Bellata District Honour RollPrint Page

The honour roll commemorates those from the District who served in World War One.
An honour roll with 37 names was unveiled in 1917 and it is believed by Monument Australia that this is not the original roll.
The Honor Board which was unveiled at Bellata on Monday, by Mr. W. E. Wearne, M.L.A., contains 37 names. It was mentioned that not one had been killed, but Private Shanley was missing.
