The photographic honour roll commemorates staff members of the Beehive who served in World War One.

The Beehive is a large building in Pall Mall, was a mining stock exchange and department store.

The honour roll was obtained from an antique store in Inglewood, Victoria in February 2021 and has been restored.  It was in a backyard rubbish pile against a creek.  Some of the photographs were missing which replacements have been resourced from descendants.

Lietenant Colonel Robert Henderson who is listed on the honour roll, was a builders merchant whose family owned the Beehive building.  He was the Commanding Officer of the 39th Battalion in World War One.
