The seat commemorates the centenary of Armistice and those who served in World War One.
The Seat of Remembrance, was donated to the Citizens of Moonee Valley as a gift from the 58/32 Infantry Battalion Association. The brief dedication ceremony was carried out by Padre Mark Dunn. An identical seat is in Queen Park, Moonee Ponds.
Funding of $5723 was received by the 52/32 Battalion through the Armistice Centenary Grants Program for the purchase of the seats
