The statue is dedicated to those from Kerang & District who died in service or were killed in action during World War One. 

Funding of $10731 was received in 2018 through the Armistice Centenary Grants Program for the erection of the statue.

TO COINCIDE WITH THE CENTENARY OF ANZAC 
AND 100 YEARS OF SERVICE BY THE MEMBERS
OF THE LOCAL RSL SUB-BRANCH
