ANZAC Gallipoli GardenPrint Page
The garden commemorates the centenary of the landing of the ANZAC (Australian & New Zealand Army Corp) landing at Gallipoli and those who served in World War One.
Positioned within the garden beds are various metal plaques, attached to timber posts. Inscribed on the plaques are the war service details of veterans with a connection to Ballina. The plaques also include information about the veteran's next of kin, which was often their parents or a sibling.
