Leech`s Gully Public School Honour RollPrint Page
The honour roll commemorates ex-pupils of the school who served in World War One.
The Tenterfield Star, 21 August 1916, reported Leech's Gully teacher J. Donnelly was organising the roll. Three weeks later, on 14 September, the Star described in detail the unveiling that took place on Wednesday, 6 September and listed all the names inscribed on the roll. Tenterfield's Mayor, Alderman Stewart, unveiled the memorial at the ceremony.
