The marble tablet was originally erected in the church wall in 1923 which was erected in memory of those who died in service or were killed in action during World War One.
The wall has now been replaced with a white picket fence and the tablet is located on a plinth in front of the old stone church.

On Saturday afternoon next, at 3.15p.m., Major-General Sir Charles Rosenthal, M.L.A., will unveil the memorial tablet in the brick wall erected in front of St. Paul's Church of England, Riverstone, to the memory of 'all who gave their lives in the great war'
