Dear Monument Australia visitors, we are a self-funded, non-profit organisation, dedicated to recording monuments throughout Australia. Over time the costs of maintaining this website have risen substantially (in fact they are probably larger than those of many companies who exist for profit). In the past we have borne all the costs associated with maintaining the website but we are now having difficulties in paying the monthly expenses.
If Monument Australia is useful to you, please make a donation to keep this historical and educational resource available. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Path of RemembrancePrint Page

The Path of Remembrance honours those from the district who served in World War One. The silent steel figurines along the path have been selected to best represent the 10 Light Horse troopers with their mount, a soldier resting on arms reverse in respect for the diggers and a nurse, representing the many women that served both overseas and in Australian hospitals.
To help celebrate 100 years since the signing of the Amnesty to end World War One, the Boyup Brook RSL Sub-branch received a DVA grant to continue the upgrade of the memorial and with the support of the Shire created the "Path of Remembrance", which opened on Remembrance Day 2018.
