The brass honour roll commemorates those from Wagin and District who died in service or were killed in action in World War One.

UNVEILING CEREMONY.
Show Day, Friday 25th inst., been decided upon as the date for the important ceremony of unveiling the Honor Tablet for Fallen Soldiers in the Wagin Electoral District. The Tablet is of brass, mounted on polished jarrah, and is being provided jointly by the Wagin Municipal Council and Wagin Road Board. It will be located in the foyer of our fine Town Hall, and will be unveiled by the Vice President of the Returned Soldiers' League (Rev. C. L. Riley). The ceremony will commence at 10.30 a.m. All Returned Soldiers throughout district will be present. It is also anticipated that there will be a large attendance of the general public, who will doubtless assemble to do honor to those who sacrificed their lives in the need of their Country.

Through the courtesy of the Wagin Council, the returned men will be given the opportunity to personally meet the Vice President of the League. A gathering for this purpose has been arranged in the Municipal Chambers, Wagin, at 7 p.m. This hour has been fixed in order to allow this meeting to terminate before the performance in the Town Hall at 8 p.m., of "Floradora" by the Narrogin Operatic Society. Returned men are delighted at the prospect of meeting the son of the late lamented  Anglican Bishop of Perth.  Like his father, the Rev. C. L. Riley is a very effective public speaker, and has a habit of saying all that is in him.
