Dear Monument Australia visitors, we are a self-funded, non-profit organisation, dedicated to recording monuments throughout Australia. Over time the costs of maintaining this website have risen substantially. In the past we have borne all the costs associated with maintaining the website but we are now having difficulties in paying the monthly expenses.
If Monument Australia is useful to you, please make a donation to keep this historical and educational resource available. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Methodist Church Honour RollPrint Page

The marble honour roll commemorates those from the former Mortimer Street Methodist Church who served in World War One.
The handsome memorial in honor of the Methodists of Mudgee and district who served in the great war is to be unveiled at a special service in the Mudgee Methodist Church, on Sunday morning. Returned soldiers are invited, and a portion of the Church will be reserved for them. The Rev. H. E. Bellhouse is in receipt of a letter from district headquarters, Victoria Barracks, granting permission to returned soldiers to appear in uniform on that occasion.
