Myrrhee State School & Residents Honour RollPrint Page
The photographic honour roll commemorates former students of the school and residents who served in World War One.
On Thursday, 22nd ult.,the unveiling of the Myrrhee honor board took place in the school.The ceremony was performed by Mr. R. Cook M.P . in the presence of a large gathering of local and district residents. Mr C. Handcock occupied the chair,and a programme of songs, recitations, etc., was presented by the children, assisted by Misses L. and M. Patterson. Revs, W. Martin and Gordon Tavare also spoke.The speeches, which were of a patriotic nature, as befitted the occasionwere much appreciation by those present.
