Lions Club of Trinity Beach Seats of HonourPrint Page
The Seats of Honour consist of two bench seats which commemorate the centenary of ANZAC and those who served in World War One. Funding of $9737 was received through the Anzac Centenary Grants Program for the installation of the seats.
The bench seats are dedicated to local Anzac efforts during World War One – one to the nurses who cared for the Anzac soldiers under such difficult situations and the other to the efforts of the volunteers at home in Australia. Each bench has an etched photo and text detailing the dedication, one being a photo of a World War One nurse caring for a soldier and the other of Australian volunteers.
