The wooden honour commemorates those from the district who served in World War One.

Roll of Honor — A roll of honor, bearing the names of the Kimberley lads who have served in the war, is to be unveiled next Saturday. The Warden of Deloraine will perform the unveiling ceremony, and a number of councillors and members of the Federal and State Parliaments will be present. The children are to be treated to a picnic in the afternoon, and at night a concert and social is to take place in Cullen's Hall, Arrangements are in the hands of Mr. P. J. M'Mahon, and a cordial invitation is extended to the public.
