The honour roll commemorates former students of the school who served in World War One.

In spite of the inclement weather a large number of people attended the Healesville State School on Friday afternoon, February 24, when the honour board of the school was unveiled by Mr. W.H.Everard M.L.A. The board, which is of blackwood, bears the names of 73 past pupils who did their share in the great war. It is a fine piece of work and has the distinction of being a wholly local production. The timber was grown in Healesville and presented to the committee by Mr J.G. Christie. The board built and and finished off by Mr.D.Begg, and the lettering done by Mr. T. Thiemeyer.
Healesville and Yarra Glen Guardian (Vic), 4 March 1922.
