Valley Heights Locomotive Depot Honour Roll Print Page 

The honour roll commemorates railwaymen from the area who served in World War One.
Funding for the honour roll was received through the Anzac Centenary Grants Program.
Federal Member for Macquarie Louise Markus has announced more than $3000 in federal grants to support Mountains projects commemorating the service of Australians during World War I.
The Valley Heights Locomotive Depot Heritage Museum has received $2133 towards a railway specific World War I honour roll acknowledging Springwood locals serving as railway employees during the war.
Assistant publicity officer at Valley Heights Heritage Museum. Keith Ward said the “volunteers at the museum are pleased to have our grant application approved. We want to recognise the huge contribution and sacrifice that railway workers. especially the 17 or more from the local area made in various conflicts in World War I. A suitably inscribed Honor Roll will be mounted in the museum shop for all to contemplate.”
