St Martin`s Church was erected as a war memorial to those who served in World War One. The foundation stone of the church was laid in February 1924 and the church was opened and consecrated by the Bishop of Tasmania in 1925. 

Note: This church was on a list of Anglican Church properties for sale in 2018.
