The honour roll commemorates employees of the Water Supply Shop who served in World War One.

Now known to be the Eveleigh Locomotive Water Supply Shop Honour Roll WWI. A wooden Honour Roll board, with 37 Eveleigh Locomotive Water Supply Shop railways employees names who served in the First World War written in gilt, encased behind a glass pane. It was eventually fixed to the western Railway Remembrance Wall at Central Station.
