Dear Monument Australia visitors, we are a self-funded, non-profit organisation, dedicated to recording monuments throughout Australia. Over time the costs of maintaining this website have risen substantially. In the past we have borne all the costs associated with maintaining the website but we are now having difficulties in paying the monthly expenses.

Municipality of Kingborough Honour RollPrint Page

At yesterday's meeting of the Kingsborough Council, a letter was read from Mr. Fred. H. Gibbs, of Woodbridge, with regard to the proposed Roll of Honour to be placed in the council-chamber, which is to contain the names of all men who have enlisted from the municipality, asking if the roll of honour was to be paid for out of the council fund or by public subscription, and also asking what connection with the municipality would qualify for a place on the roll.
