Warrenheip State School Honour Roll Print Page
The honour roll commemorates former students from the school who served in World War One.
What has been unanimously described as one of the successful functions ever held in Warrenheip took place in the local school on Saturday evening, the occasion being the unveiling of the school honor roll. Warrenheip old boys were among the very first to recognise the importance of the Empire's call and the response came quick and sure. Their names are represented in the enlistments right from the fateful August of nearly two years ago. The school had its modest honor roll from the time the enlistments; but as name after name was added it was felt the occasion demanded a more permanent and a more worthy record.
