Memorial GatesPrint Page
The gates were erected by the residents of Brimpaen and District to commemorate those who died in service or were killed in action during World Wars One and Two. The gates were dedicated by Canon Fettell on the 4th December 1949.
Notes From The Churches. On Sunday afternoon Canon Fettell will officiate at the unveiling of the memorial gates at Brimpaen. These have been erected by the residents of the district in memory of the men who made the supreme sacrifice in both World Wars, and in order that other district residents who are interested may attend this ceremony the usual monthly service will not be held at Laharum.
