Remembrance GardenPrint Page
The Remembrance Garden commemorates those who have served in the various conflicts in which Australia has been involved.
At the cente of the space is a black-granite monument, which represents each of the local lives lost during periods of conflict and peace. Around the perimeter of the garden are several 'Benches of Remembrance', each with numerous individual plaques attached. The plaques are inscribed with the names of local men and women who served in the Royal Australian Navy, Australian Army and the Royal Australian Air Force during the First and Second World Wars, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, and conflicts since.
