Memorial ParkPrint Page
The Memorial Park commemorates all servicemen and women from the Roma - Bungil District who have served in the various conflicts in which Australia has been involved.
Formerly Queens Park, the park was renamed Memorial Park in 1949 to honour those from the District who had died in service or been killed in action on World War One and World War Two.
The dedication stone was erected by J. H. Wagner and Sons.
The Roma Town Council at its meeting on Friday night unanimously decided to rename Queens Park to Memorial Park as a gesture to the town and district dead of both World Wars.
