The wooden honour roll commemorates those who served in World War One and World War Two.
STOWPORT BALL. A well-attended ball was held In the hall on Monday evening for the unveiling of the honor roll. Mr. E. Rutherford apologised for the absence of the Warden (Cr. M. A. Whitford), and introduced visitors. Cr. W. J. Phipps spoke of the splendid work of the R.S.L., and asked for the support of all returned men. Mr. J. Fidler, M.H.A., unveiled the honor roll, and one minute's silence was observed in memory of those who paid the supreme sacrifice. Mr. Clarke sounded the Last Post. Mr. W. T. Young thanked the speakers. A chocolate waltz was won by Mr. J. Rowlings and partner. Rundle's Orchestra provided the music.
