The gate commemorates those w2ho served in World War One, World War Two and the Vietnam War.
Two stone tablets are set in stone pillars (for gate), situated at the entrance to a children`s playground.
The R.S.L. meeting was held last Friday night with only a few members attending. Much discussion took place on the proposed Sports Day and Dance to be held some time in September in conjunction with the unveiling ceremony of the Memorial Gate Pillars in Wandering. A committee of four will go into the matter and make all necessary arrangements.
