The wooden honour roll originally commemorated those who served in World War Two. Additional names were added to the roll to commemorate those who served in the Korean War and the Vietnam War. The roll contains 216 names. 

The honour roll erected by the Dowerin Road Board to commemorate district enlistments in the 1939-1945 war was unveiled by Mr. H.Leslie M.H.R on the 25th April 1951. 
The West Australian (Perth) 27th April 1951.
