The hall commemorates those who have served in the various conflicts in which Australia has been involved.

Flashback Friday 1963.
Farmers and gardeners alike were enjoying the end of winter during the August of 1963, with plenty of rain to go around. With districts including Kielpa seeing close to the wettest year on record at the time, local produce growers were seeing big results, with schools and backyards growing giant vegetables.

Rudall saw the opening of the Rudall Soldiers' Memorial Hall, with a local Queen competition adding some flair.

Locals and visitors across the region enjoyed a variety of sports, with basketball finals, a table tennis tournament and a 'diggers' themed golf tournament keeping the community busy. The Apex Club tried out a new cuisine in a bid to raise funds for charity, while the Cowell Area School celebrated Arbor Day by planting a new lawn.
