The hall commemorates those who have served in the various conflicts in which Australia has been involved.

A public meeting was held in the Vestry at Prospect Hill on May 30 to discuss building of a memorial hall. The recommendation committee gave their report on suggested site for building. The C.W.A. undertook to finance the building of the supper room, such room to be built according to approved plan and the C.W.A. to have use of the supper room at all times free of hire charges. The CWA offered to pay fees for architect and blue prints. The hall when built will be called the Prospect Hill War Memorial hall and suggested size is 30ft. by 60ft.
