The Memorial Hall commemorates those who have served in the various conflicts in which Australia has been involved. The hall is now the Victorious Church.
A public meeting has been called tor Friday at Paringa to consider a proposal to along the lines similar to those of the recently established Cooltong body. It is proposed to incorporate a body known as the Paringa Murtho War Memorial Community Centre to take over the affairs of the Progress Association which has already raised over £1,200 to wards the cost of a new hall. The population of the district has been quadrupled since the war.
