The hall commemorates those from the district who served in conflicts in which Australia has been involved.
Miss Daphne Bowman has arranged for a grand gala day at Poltalloch on Saturday, Nov. 26th, when a well varied programme will be conducted including speed boat races on the lakes, and competitions of all kinds. The proceeds are in aid of the Ashville Soldiers' Memorial Hall, and further particulars will be given in out next issue.
