Soldiers Memorial ParkPrint Page
The park has entrance gates of four rendered concrete pillars with marble tablets which commemorate those who served in World Wars One and Two, Korean and Vietnam Wars.
The park was opened in 1921 and the gates erected in 1924. In 1960 the tablets erected in memory of those whose served in World War Two were placed on the outer pillars and unveiled on Anzac Day 1960.
