The Foster War Memorial Arts Centre (Foster Hall) was erected by the citizens of Foster and District as a memorial to those who died serving their country in war.
It was opened by His Excellency the Governor of Victoria Major-General Sir Rohan Delacombe K.C.M.G., K.B.E., C.B., D.S.O., K.St.J and dedicated by Brigadier W. H. Hall, C.B.E., D.S.O. E.D. on November 12th 1966.
