Wisemans Ferry Bowling Club CenotaphPrint Page
The memorial commemorates those who have served in the various conflicts in which Australia has been involved. The Cenotaph is a sandstone wall with memorial plaques attached and was constructed by the community with the aid of the "Lions" to commemorate the 75th. anniversary of the Gallipoli Campaign.
2014 was last year in which ANZAC Day ceremonies were held at this memorial as the ceremony is now held at the Wisemans Ferry & Districts War Memorial. This memorial remains as a permanent fixture, a reminder of the 25 years that played an important role in the ANZAC Day Ceremony at Wisemans Ferry.
