The War Memorial was originally erected and unveiled in 1919 in memory of the soldiers who fell in World War One. Memorial tablets have been added to the memorial to commemorate the fallen of World War Two and Korea while the base of the memorial has been carved to include Vietnam, 1939-45, and Korea.
