The garden and memorial commemorate the Australian Defence Forces who have worked at Nirimba.
The memorial is made up of 4 large brick and concrete walls all of equal size. In front of the 4 sections is a smaller brick and concrete wall supporting a black anchor. All this sits on a large concrete and tiled rectangular slab. The garden has 3 rows of well tended roses and some maple trees. Behind the walls are 3 black flag poles. The 4 walls each have their own plaque or crest, including one for the Royal Australian Air Force, The Royal Australian Navy and for H.M.A.S. Nirimba.
