The Jewish War Memorial commemorates members of the Jewish faith who served in the various conflicts in which Australia and her allies have been involved.
The War Memorial which consists of a Memorial Stone and a flagpole was originally unveiled on the 7th November 1948 in memory of New South Wales Jewish Ex-Servicemen who served in both World Wars. The memorial stone has since been replaced by a stone of black granite and commemorates those who served in all conflicts.
A short and simple but impressive ceremony at Rookwood Cemetery marked the unveiling of a memorial stone and the dedication of a flag staff to the memory of N.S.W. Jewish Ex-Servicemen. The ceremony was attended by about 150 diggers and their womenfolk last Sunday afternoon. Rabbi Porush and Chaplain Falk conducted the service and paid brief tribute to the men who had paid the supreme sacrifice. The flagstaff was dedicated, by Mr. R. Diamond, the President of the Ex Servicemen's Association, and the Memorial Stone was unveiled by Mr. O. Philips on behalf of the Rookwood Trustees.

Korea, Malaysia and Vietnam.
Also Iraq, Afghanistan & subsequent warfares.
