The murals commemorate those who served in the Vietnam War and were painted in 2018 to celebrate the Vietnam Veterans Federation SA Branch relocating to their new site in Marion. The murals also include scenes from East Timor, Iraq and Afghanistan.

Funding was received in March 2019 through the Saluting Their Service Program for the project.
