The grove of trees commemorates those who have served in conflicts in which Australia has been involved. One tree is dedicated to Peace Keeping Forces and one to Peace,

Plaque:
LONE PINE
On the 6th August, 1915 during World War 1,
Australian Troops were involved in a fierce 
battle in the desolate hills of Gallipoli. 
A solitary pine tree stood silent whilst the
battle raged around it. 
These pine trees were from a seed 
brought home from that lone pine.

This grove of trees was planted to represent
Australian Troops` invovlement (sic) in :

BOER WAR            MALAYA 
WORLD WAR 1      BORNEO
WORLD WAR 11    VIETNAM
KOREA                    GULF WAR
One tree is dedicated to our
PEACE KEEPING FORCES
an other tree dedicated to
              PEACE
