Plaque :

St Patrick`s Memorial Church.

This stone, blessed and laid by Most Reverend Francis Rush, D.D., Bishop of Rockhampton on 17th. September in the  Fifteenth Centenary Year of the death of St. Patrick, 1961, expresses the devotion and faith of a grateful people, who, in the name of Jesus, erected this Church to the glory of the Most Holy Trinity, in honour of St. Patrick, their Patron, and in memory of those who died in the Service of Australia.
