Avenue of Honour
This Avenue of Honour commemorates and honours the memory of the servicemen and servicewomen from the City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters who made the ultimate sacrifice for their country. It provides an opportunity for reflection and remembrance for future generations.
They shall grow not old as we that are left grow old ;
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.
Lest We Forget
The City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters Avenue of Honour was officially opened by Mayor Robert Bria on 6 September 2014
