The church commemorates those who have served in the various conflicts in which Australia has been involved.

The Raglan United Protestant Memorial Church, commemorating the people who served their country, was erected in 1922-3 and it was the first church in Raglan. The Catholic Church also used the church for services, as it had no church in the district.
